PetAdopt is a web app concept for imaginary Pet shelter in Tucson, designed by me for Google UX Design Professional Certificate program. The idea for the app is to help people in Tucson to easy adopt pet. User can search thru pet database, and then when finds pet that wants to adopt he can schedule meeting with Pet shelter. Design was done in XD, with some photo editing in Photoshop and logo and custom vector design in Illustrator.
Once the initial concept of the website was created and I developed some personas, I started brainstorming designs. I started looking at some other websites that I wanted to use for inspiration to see how they organize content and what I can learn from that. Once I had some ideas and did some sketches on paper, I took to XD to begin developing digital wireframes to turn into lo-fidelity prototypes.
After I got some feedback on my wireframing from my peers, it was time to start the branding and design process. I created color palette, and started building some of the buttons and other icons. Once I made the designs based off of my wireframes, I added some additional design touch ups that included extra buttons and text areas.
